The innovative Dura-Flex flexible delineator post is manufactured using high impact UV stabilised premium quality PVC. It is 100% Australian made and fully recyclable, it is an alternative to spring steel type flexible guideposts. The post is installed by creating a divot, inserting the post and then backfilling. A manual driver is available, and an auger can be used as a faster alternative. The guide post will not support combustion however the material is self-extinguishing. The post has capabilities of retaining a minimum of 85% of their colour, appearance and physical properties when exposed to Australian conditions for at least ten years. The Dura-Flex system offers three styles: Dura-Flex 1400mm pointed, and barbed, Dura-Flex 1500mm pointed and barbed or the Dura-Flex Pro with a standard 250mm drivable anchor. A manual driver is available or an auger can be used as a faster alternative. DURABILITY The guide post will not support combustion however the material is self-extinguishing. The post has capabilities of retaining a minimum of 85% of their colour, appearance and physical properties when exposed to Australian conditions for at least 10 years. FINISH & COLOUR The uPVC Guide Post is made in an opaque white and the UV stabilisation prevents discolouration. rachel@madisonstudio.com.auDuring the elongation process the PVC post has the proven ability with stretch and returns to its natural shape when tested in high impact areas. The post has high rigidity reducing deflection in windy conditions. COLD RESISTANCE The 4mm uPVC Posts were conditioned overnight not exceeding 2˚C (Ice Bath) and proved capable of straightening itself when bent ϵ0 deŐrees at the midƉoint ϰ times ďoth directions. The 4mm uPVC also passes the 1kg Steel Ball test showing no sign of fracturing, cracking or splitting after being struck 5 times. HEAT RESISTANCE The 4mm uPVC were conditioned at 60 degrees for 2 hours in an oven͕ and proved capable of straightening itself within 30 seconds when bent 90 degrees at the midpoint 4 times both directions within two minutes of removal from the oven.
