Directional Tap-in CompFit Poly Tactiles come with spigots for compression fitting, no adhesive required.
INSTALLATION METHOD
Tap-in CompFit Poly Tactile indicators are installed into holes in the
substrate pre-drilled with a suitable masonry or diamond tipped
wet core drill bit. Tap-in CompFit Poly Tactiles are designed with a retention
fit spigot and do not require adhesive. Due to the weakness of
bitumen, it is suggested that polyurethane adhesive is injected into
each hole to provide greater substrate stability and further secure
the tactile spigot. When installing over carpet/underlay, a pre-drilled
filler board is required as a replacement to the underlay.
See product installation sheet for comprehensive instructions.
The Tap-in CompFit Poly Tactile range of tactile
indicators are UV stable and have a
proven track record when safety and
durability count. The unique polymer
formulation and large anchoring
spigot not only ensure the product
is made to last, it also protects the
substrate from any possible damage. Poly is engineered and
purpose built tough, to withstand
extreme point loading and side
impact. It is long lasting, resistant to
heavy traffic, maintenance machinery
and abuse. Poly offers specifiers
a discrete tactile option which retains
the aesthetic of the underlying
substrate without compromising on
performance.
Tap-in CompFit Poly Tactiles is easy to install in just
two easy steps - simply drill a hole,
knock in a tactile indicator, and the
installation is complete.
Colours available are: Black, Grey, Ivory, Orange, Ocean Blue, Terracotta& Yellow Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI)

MATERIAL
Manufactured from new generation polymers. Designed to provide
optimum durability, UV stability and wear resistance.
APPLICATIONS
Tap-in CompFit Poly Tactile indicators can be installed over almost any substrate,
including concrete, bitumen, natural stone, ceramic tiles, pavers,
timber, carpet and most other surfaces. Individual discrete tactile
indicators are designed to expose the underlying substrate, and
provide many design options. Suitable for internal and external
applications.
DIMENSIONS
A major diameter of 35mm, and a minor diameter of 25mm, with a
protrusion height of 5mm, the maximum to ensure longevity and
optimum anti-slip. 8mm x 20mm retention fit spigot.
