2 Way CATS EYES - Raised Reflective Pavement Markers (RRPM)
Adequate delineation on our roads is essential,
particularly on rainy of foggy nights where poor visibility can be life
threatening. Reflective pavement markers are extremely effective
delineation devices providing safe and proven means of delineation
throughout the world. 'CATSEYE' raised pavement markers are Australian
made and amongst the most advanced reflective pavement markers
available on the market today, exhibiting optimum safety, durability
and exceptional quality with the added advantage of low cost and

strength. Tyre Impacts are taken close to the marker's centre,
eliminating most of the pavement fracturing rocking motions caused by
tyre roll-over.

No more twisting required during installation to get
adhesive under corners as well as reducing the likelihood of adhesive

Epoxy Adhesive Installation Method: On the tubs of epoxy adhesive they have instructions
on how to prepare the adhesive. Use enough adhesive so that when
you stick the cats eye down the adhesive oozes out the sides. Curing time is 24 hours so maybe
put traffic cones over the cats eyes while the adhesive cures. Epoxy Adhesives are the strongest adhesives in the world so try
not to make a mess or a mistake because clean up is impossible
once it's cured.

To install cats eyes using thermal adhesive pads:
- Make sure that the area is clean, dry and free from oil and/or debris.
- Apply heat from your blowtorch for 15 seconds to warm up the bitumen / asphalt or concrete.
- Place the pad on the surface and continue to apply heat to the pad and surrounding area for another 15 seconds until the bubbles on the pad start to form and pop.
- As soon as the bubbles start popping; lay the cats eye on the pad and apply pressure until the tar starts to ooze from the edges. Curing time will vary from location to location depending on ambient temperatures.
You'll Need: 1 x Broom to sweep area and 1 x blow torch
